We run an editorial publication. We do not maintain user accounts, we do not personalise content, and we collect the minimum data needed to keep the site up.

2. What we collect
When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard server log data:
- IP address (truncated where possible)
- Browser type and version
- The page requested and the HTTP referrer
- The timestamp of the request
Server logs are kept for a short rolling window (30 days) and are used solely for operational purposes — debugging, abuse detection and aggregate traffic statistics.
3. What we do not collect
- We do not require registration. There are no user accounts.
- We do not run advertising trackers.
- We do not set behavioural-profiling cookies.
- We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties for marketing.
4. Cookies
The site does not set any first-party cookies by default. Third-party fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; this may result in network requests subject to Google's own privacy practices. We do not load advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or social media trackers on this site.
5. Email correspondence
If you write to one of our editorial addresses, we retain that email for as long as is necessary to handle your request and to maintain a record of corrections. We will not use your email address for marketing.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase any personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. The review links out to external pages — including the BitMEX site and GitHub — to let a reader sanity-check our figures. Once you follow such a link, you become subject to the destination site's privacy practices, over which we have no control.

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect how we handle your data will additionally be flagged in the page's revision notes.
